Thank you for sending us $4,200. Our music classes began on September 21 under our full-time music teacher, Eneyda Lucía Bermúdez. The class is full, the lessons are going well, and the students are now making full use of the instruments. We will send you videos of the practice sessions soon.

September 26, 2026:
Due to the nor'easter, the Riverside Park 10K was canceled at the last minute. Thanks to your generous donations, we raised $985, the equivalent of two months of a full-time music teacher's salary. Joshua will now run the Manhattanite 10K in Riverside Park on December 5, 2026
August 25, 2026:
On Saturday, September 26, Joshua will be running the 10K at The New Yorker 10K and 5K @ Riverside Park in New York — and he is dedicating the race to the students in Tipitapa.
Sponsor a day. $18 puts a music teacher in the classroom for one school day, and $90 covers a full school week. Every dollar goes to the teacher's salary.
The students already have the instruments. What they still need is someone to teach them.

August 20, 2026:
We've passed the halfway mark toward our goal of raising $6,500 for the 2026–2027 school year. The new school year begins in less than a month, and the music program is ready to go. With your continued support, the music class that has been taught part-time is expanding to a full-time music teacher in the coming year.

Financial Report for the 2025–2026 School Year

We raised and contributed $6,510 to fund a part-time music teacher, music supplies, and instrument repairs.

Thanks to a number of corporate donations, $2,650 remains in the fund for the 2026–2027 school year.

Our current goal is to expand the part-time music teacher position to full-time.

After a successful 2025 campaign that funded a part-time music teacher at Korean Christian Academy in Tipitapa, we are proud to announce a new round of fundraising for 2026 - 2027 school year. Our goal is to raise $6,500 to keep the program running for 150 underserved students who otherwise would never have access to music education.

We raised $6,510 through individual and corporate contributions and fundraising music events. A dedicated music class was opened with a part-time music teacher to teach the students in 2025-2026 school year.
